I paid about $1100 for this TV last year and I have never looked back on it as a bad purchase. I believe they can be bought on sale for about $600-650 now.

The panel is beautiful, the styling is sleek (it's A SAMSUNG!), the contrast is wonderful, and the menu is decent.

I bought 2 Sony panels which both failed before settling on this set. It has been wonderful since purchase.

Since then I've got another Samsung panel and now 2 23" Samsung Monitors as well. Samsung is where it is at if you are looking to purchase a TV - spend the extra money and get yourself something quality that will last you a good long time!

I would recommend Samsung to a friend, family member, and any random person walking on the street. Their panels are the best. PERIOD! -- Wonderful TV for the price - Can't be beat
