I found this product easy to mount just know where your wall studs are. The positioning of the TV is easy and has a good amount of variability. -- Great TV mount

I purchased the Hercules HRM-100 Articulating Wall mount online. I received the wall mount in only a few days and everything was better than expected. Also I was able to find installation instructions and images online so I was all ready to install once it arrived. The unit came with more than enough mounting bolts, screws, etc. to accommodate just about any wall configuration. My installation was more involved than most due to the recessed nook where I needed to mount the 50" plasma.

Basically I wanted to mount the TV across the front of the nook which previously contained my old projection TV. So first I had to construct a sturdy wall board recessed within the nook for attaching the Hercules HRM-100. Once the wall board was in place I attached the HRM-100 and the 50" plasma easily mounted on the HRM-100 with the TV mounting bracket that come with the unit. With the dual articulating arm I'm able to tilt, swerve or extend my 50" plasma with no problems. It's a great buy and value. Heavy but sturdy. I installed mine about 3 months ago for a 42" Samsung. Based on the advice of other reviews, I didn't bother with the lag bolts that were included in the kit. I picked up some heavier grade lag bolts at the hardware store. The construction is very solid, the mechanisms are easily adjusted, and the movement is very smooth. I would be completely comfortable putting a heavier 50" or 60" screen on this mount. Very pleased. -- Very happy with this mount

Pros:
Sturdy: felt I could hang off it.
Ease to mount: took less than an hour
Stability: TV feels safe...while other complained about the lack of end brackets and I would agree that it would be better with it...you really only need to be careful when mounting. The TV is heavy and is not going to slide off once it is level and on the mount. Luckily I read a review that warned me of this before mounting.

Cons:
End brackets as mentioned above.
Directions are HORRIBLE. However, it is easy to figure out between common sense and the poor directions.

This mount is very well made and I feel 100% secure about it holding my 60" LG Plasma TV. My TV weighs approx 93lbs without the stand, and the mount secures it like a champ.

Before you install it, however, you should have another person to help you hold it in place and whatnot when mounting, because this thing is pretty heavy. Also, make sure to adjust the metal plate that the TV mounting brackets latch onto to ensure that it's properly leveled. It has 5 bolts on the front that are adjustable and it gives you a little bit of space from each one to properly level it. I didn't realize it until I was almost finished and noticed it wasn't level.

All in all, great quality for price. You won't find anything like it for this price, I shopped around for a while. -- Cost efficient, reliable and very well made...
