I purchased this LCD TV at Target on sale approximately 6 months ago. We had it set up and working in minutes. It is a very sleek and attractive looking unit. The picture is great and the HD Channels are superb. I have zero complaints on the picture quality. However, there IS a delay on the feed between the television and the cable making changing the channel really annoying something. Also, because of the feed issue, the picture will occassionally freeze on the screen - while you are able to change the channels and hear the different audio, the picture remains the same. In order to fix this problem, you have to unplug your cable box for 30 seconds and allow the signal to reboot. I was told by Apex that this is a problem with the cable company's signal. Maybe this is the case. However, I have 4 other televisions in my house, 1 of which is another HD LCD TV and I have never once had this issue with any other television or cable feeds, only the Apex LCD. So, conclude from that what you will. It is not a huge issue and is very easily repaired, but can be a bit of a nuisance. Overall, for what I paid for this television, it is a great deal. If you can find it on sale, it is worth the money. -- Good for the price, but try to find on sale
I got this tv from target on black Friday and so far have had no problems. I've been looking for a good TV under 500 dollars and all of the ones I found were in the 20in. to 27in. range. So when I saw this one I was skeptical but when I got it home and set it up it worked great. I also don't like the remote but I can live with it. -- Best TV for the price.
I bought this as a Black Friday deal at Target for $340 plus tax. The only bad thing I can say about this TV is that the remote is cheap and you have to aim it at the TV while pointing the remote down in order for the TV to pick up the signal. I have seen others complain about the speakers but they are fine unless you want to crank them up. In that case you need a surround sound system anyway which I already have so this is not a big deal for me. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and with the clarity of the picture. What a deal at $340...I love it! -- Great TV For The Price
